From Latin evaluare (“to determine the value of”), from e-/ex- (“out”) + valere (“to be strong, be worth”); later formed as evaluation + -s (plural).

Evaluations are the results or processes of judging the quality, value, performance, or effectiveness of something using criteria, evidence, or tests.
मूल्यांकन किसी वस्तु/कार्य की गुणवत्ता, मूल्य, प्रदर्शन या प्रभावशीलता को मानदंडों, प्रमाणों या परीक्षणों के आधार पर परखने की प्रक्रिया या उसके परिणाम होते हैं।
