लैटिन aemulatio (“प्रतिस्पर्धी प्रयास/ईर्ष्यायुक्त प्रतिद्वंद्विता”) से, फ्रेंच émulation के माध्यम से; यह लैटिन aemulus (“प्रतिद्वंद्वी, अनुकरण करने वाला”) से संबंधित है।
Definition
Emulations are attempts to match or exceed another person’s achievements or qualities; in technology, they refer to reproducing the functions/behavior of a device or program on a different system.
एम्युलेशन्स का अर्थ है किसी दूसरे के गुणों या उपलब्धियों की बराबरी करना या उनसे आगे निकलने का प्रयास; तकनीक में, इसका अर्थ होता है किसी अन्य सिस्टम पर किसी उपकरण या प्रोग्राम के कार्य/व्यवहार की नकल करके उसे चलाना।
