Formed in modern English from the prefix de- (‘remove, reverse’) + mothball (to store/keep inactive, originally protected with mothballs).
आधुनिक अंग्रेज़ी में de- (अर्थ: हटाना/उलटना) + mothball (भंडारण में रखना/निष्क्रिय रखना; मूलतः कीड़ों से बचाने के लिए मॉथबॉल के साथ रखने से) से बना।
Definition
To take something (often equipment, vehicles, ships, or plans) out of long-term storage or disuse and make it active/usable again; literally the opposite of putting something in mothballs.
किसी चीज़ (अक्सर उपकरण, वाहन, जहाज़ या योजनाएँ) को लंबे समय के भंडारण/निष्क्रियता से निकालकर फिर से चालू या उपयोग योग्य बनाना; शाब्दिक रूप से ‘मॉथबॉल में रखना’ का उलटा।
