From Latin commensalis (“sharing a table”), from com- (“together”) + mensa (“table”); later used in biology for a form of symbiosis.
लैटिन commensalis (“एक ही मेज़/साथ भोजन करने वाला”) से, com- (“साथ”) + mensa (“मेज़”) से; बाद में जीवविज्ञान में सहजीवन के एक प्रकार के लिए प्रयोग होने लगा।
Definition
Commensals are those who live or eat together with another, especially organisms in a commensal relationship where one benefits and the other is neither helped nor harmed.
