Definition
Vortices are swirling, rotating regions in a fluid (air, water, or plasma) where the flow spins around an axis, often creating turbulence (e.g., tornadoes, whirlpools, wingtip vortices). Figuratively, it can mean situations that pull people into intense activity or confusion.
ভর্টিসিস (vortices) হলো কোনো তরল মাধ্যমে (বায়ু, পানি বা প্লাজমা) অক্ষকে কেন্দ্র করে ঘূর্ণায়মান/পাক খাওয়া প্রবাহের অঞ্চল, যেখানে প্রায়ই তীব্র ঘূর্ণাবর্ত ও অশান্তি (turbulence) সৃষ্টি হয় (যেমন টর্নেডো, জলঘূর্ণি, বিমানের ডানার প্রান্তের ঘূর্ণি)। রূপক অর্থে এটি এমন পরিস্থিতিও বোঝায় যা মানুষকে তীব্র ব্যস্ততা বা বিভ্রান্তির মধ্যে টেনে নিয়ে যায়।
