Definition
Thrombi are blood clots (plural of thrombus) that form inside a living body’s blood vessels; they may block the vessel where they form (thrombosis) or break off and travel (embolize) to lodge elsewhere.
থ্রম্বাই হলো রক্তনালির ভেতরে জীবিত দেহে তৈরি হওয়া রক্তজমাট (থ্রম্বাসের বহুবচন); এগুলো যে স্থানে তৈরি হয় সেখানে নালি বন্ধ করে দিতে পারে (থ্রম্বোসিস) অথবা খুলে গিয়ে ভেসে অন্যত্র গিয়ে আটকে যেতে পারে (এম্বোলাইজ/এম্বোলাস সৃষ্টি)।
