From re- (back, again) + fund (a supply of money), used from the late 17th century with the sense ‘pay back money’.

re- (আবার/ফিরিয়ে) + fund (অর্থের ভাণ্ডার) থেকে উদ্ভূত; ১৭শ শতকের শেষ দিক থেকে ‘টাকা ফেরত দেওয়া’ অর্থে ব্যবহৃত।
