Definition
Polynesians are the Indigenous peoples of Polynesia, including groups from islands such as Hawaii, Samoa, Tonga, Tahiti, and New Zealand (Māori). The term refers to shared cultural, linguistic (Austronesian/Polynesian languages), and historical connections across the Pacific.
পলিনেশিয়ানরা পলিনেশিয়া অঞ্চলের আদিবাসী জনগোষ্ঠী; এর মধ্যে হাওয়াই, সামোয়া, টোঙ্গা, তাহিতি এবং নিউজিল্যান্ড (মাওরি)–সহ বিভিন্ন দ্বীপের মানুষ অন্তর্ভুক্ত। শব্দটি প্রশান্ত মহাসাগরজুড়ে তাদের সাংস্কৃতিক, ভাষাগত (অস্ট্রোনেশীয়/পলিনেশীয় ভাষা) ও ঐতিহাসিক সম্পর্ককে বোঝায়।
