From out- (beyond) + strip (to surpass/leave behind), recorded in English from the 17th century; outstrip originally meant to outpace or go beyond.
out- (অতিক্রম/বাইরে) উপসর্গ + strip (ছাড়িয়ে যাওয়া/পেছনে ফেলে দেওয়া) থেকে গঠিত; ১৭শ শতক থেকে ইংরেজিতে ব্যবহৃত, শুরুতে অর্থ ছিল গতি বা অগ্রগতিতে অন্যকে পেছনে ফেলা।
Definition
Outstrips means (1) to run faster than someone and leave them behind, or (2) to be greater than something in amount, level, or achievement (to surpass).
Outstrips বলতে বোঝায় (১) কারও চেয়ে দ্রুত দৌড়ে তাকে পেছনে ফেলে দেওয়া, অথবা (২) পরিমাণ, মাত্রা বা সাফল্যে কোনো কিছুকে ছাড়িয়ে যাওয়া (অতিক্রম করা)।
