Definition
An agroecologist is a scientist or practitioner who analyzes farms as ecosystems—studying soil health, biodiversity, nutrient cycles, pests, water use, and social factors—and uses this knowledge to design sustainable farming methods.
এগ্রোইকোলজিস্ট হলেন এমন একজন বিজ্ঞানী বা প্রয়োগকারী যিনি খামারকে একটি বাস্তুতন্ত্র হিসেবে বিশ্লেষণ করেন—মাটির স্বাস্থ্য, জীববৈচিত্র্য, পুষ্টিচক্র, কীট-পতঙ্গ, জলব্যবহার এবং সামাজিক বিষয়গুলো অধ্যয়ন করে—এবং এই জ্ঞান ব্যবহার করে টেকসই কৃষিপদ্ধতি নকশা করেন।
