জ্যৈষ্ঠ হলো বাংলা সনের দ্বিতীয় মাস (সাধারণত মে–জুনের মধ্যে পড়ে); হিন্দু চন্দ্রপঞ্জিকায়ও এটি একটি মাসের নাম এবং 'জ্যৈষ্ঠ' নামটি একটি নক্ষত্র/নক্ষত্রসমষ্টিকেও বোঝাতে পারে
Jyôishṭhô is the second month of the Bengali calendar (generally falling around May–June); in the Hindu lunar calendar it is also the name of a month, and the term 'Jyaiṣṭha' can additionally refer to a lunar mansion (nakshatra/asterism) with the same name
