কোনো ব্যক্তি বিশেষের জন্ম, শিক্ষা, কর্মজীবন, অবদান, ব্যক্তিগত ঘটনা ও প্রাসঙ্গিক ঐতিহাসিক প্রেক্ষাপটসহ ধারাবাহিকভাবে লেখা যে বই, তাকে জীবনীগ্রন্থ বলা হয়
